  What are his thoughts on having a bottom-dwelling defense during his tenure as Chargers head coach? I mean, he was brought in with the “Defensive Wunderkind” moniker…

  Chargers are cheap. They will be lucky to retain Herbert with his huge future contract. Ek is likely gone, the Cheap Chargers won’t pay him. The Bolts will likely draft a Bijan Robinson in the 1st round to replace Ek.

  I like Ekeler… but it’s time to move on to championship talk here… we need a bigger and stronger back. One of who and when has the ball the opponents will have to be worried about and have to come up with a plan on how to stop the run game… We have offensive power with our QB Herbert and defensive power ( Bosa ) NOW…
  We need Championship and there is NO MORE TIME than NOW!
  Staley need to stay focused and TRUST in Herbert to convert the 4th downs… Go back and review the LT games… thats whats going to take us to Championship!!
