You know when newsom is lying? When his lips move.

Just before an election, California had a “surplus”.. now deficit.. and gavin never includes the billions that state pensions are short.. the whole thing is a joke.

Good work by the Governor’s office. The proposed budget closes the $32 billion shortfall and sets aside $37.2 billion in total reserves. Now it’s on to the Legislature.

Here’s a quote from KKKTLA: “California has a progressive tax system that relies on rich people, meaning it gets about half its revenues from just 1% of the population. When the economy is good, rich people pay more in taxes and revenues can soar quickly. When the economy is bad, they pay less and revenues can drop just as fast.” Oh really? You mean the 1% who you are forever stating don’t pay enough taxes are carrying 50% of the burden?
